It adds an element of entertainment to the actual donating of the rice, it's not as fun to send the rice itself, when 1,000's of bored Americans can go on, and feel proud of themselves making a difference, I personally love it.Why do you have to play a game to end world hunger? Couldn't they just... Send the rice? Without forcing you to play a stupid game? Or is that too easy.
Btw, one of our teachers had us go on Freerice for like 30 minutes, thought it was pretty cool.
