Wow, he must of not treated them with care, because I don't get how that can happen if all your doing is wearing something around your head and ears? I guess it differs with people, but I've had mine for about 6 months now with no problems

Some of these things I said actually happened without him doing anything bad, but generally he's REALLY doesn't care if something breaks. He's gotten like 4 mouses in 1 year...

Then I would recommend the Audio Technica ATH-M50s. Almost every review about them is positive, and they seem like an extremely good set of headphones. Audio Technica also has a great reputation. I don't have them personally, but I would strongly recommend them.
I second the ATH-M50's I had a pair 9 years ago now, and I must say for that price point they are still the best I have ever had for strictly music purposes.

I, like you, am very heavily into music and collecting it. High quality sound is very important to me. They lasted me a good 6 years of heavy use with no loss in sound quality.

See here.

How do they feel? Are they comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Ive been doing a ton of research and I was thinking about getting those.

At first they can be a bit uncomfortable if you wear them too long. They take some break in time - but after awhile, you definitely get used to it.

I'll reccomend you Steelseries Siberia v2. I have these headphones for 3 years and they work perfectly.

I'd recommend going with the Symphonized Magnum Premium Genuine Wood Headphones. Now, while these aren't wireless headphones, these are a great set of headphones to grab for a decent cost. They have amazing bass, great mediums, and good highs. I personally use this headset myself, and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. Right now on Amazon, these headphones cost 70 dollars (in the U.S. anyway). It's main intention was not to be made to be a gaming headset, but still it does an excellent job for playing games.
