Hackers... MCSG, DO SOMETHING!

I easily can. I'm just saying there needs to be more done about hackers and if i was to report every hacker i come across i may as well be a mod. btw ive applied for mod twice :/ xD

What more can be done? We have a great staff team that's constantly growing, developers who work on ncp if it gets too out of hand, and active players whom she ab effort to report hackers themselves for no extra reward.

I don't see why people still post these types of threads. We know that there are hackers in basically every game. We can't do anything about it, so instead of making a thread like this, just message a member of staff.

I got banned by a donator at the MSSG servers, the game says that i was banned for water walking? and i am wondering how i am gonna get back on the servers because i am permanetly banned. Please if u know how to unban me i would be very happy because i think Survival Games including much fun

It's not the Moderators' fault that there are so many hackers. No matter how many hackers we ban, there will always be more and more. It's just logic. We can't live in a utopia where everyone is a saint and follows the rules.

There is a way you can help, and, while it won't abolish hackers completely, it will definitely get rid of a large quantity. You can either record them hacking, upload it to YouTube, and post a Report abuse containing the YouTube video (link), or come onto our Teamspeak server and poke a Moderator to deal with the issue.

I just want to reiterate that Mods aren't lazy, because if they were, then they would be removed from the staff team. Every Moderator is doing their best to make this a fun and safe community, but it's just the logic of the world that there will always be people who want to handicap others for their own benefit. This can be seen in MCGamer (and all Minecraft servers, for that matter), and in the real world, where, there are police to enforce laws, but that doesn't mean there will never be crime.

I can't do the videos so much but whats the teamspeak, ill start using that more. Is a screenshot enough sometimes to get someone banned?

I think that you're over exaggerating the "hackers everywhere" idea. I barely ever see hackers on MCSG. You can't do much to stop them. They will always come. Tell me if I'm wrong but are you lashing out because you are killed a lot? You might be mistaking people hacking, if not. Hacks aren't as common as you may think. Records say that about 0. 046% of Minecraft players are in some way cheating. That's not a lot.

I gotta appreciate you for NOT writing some stupid thread ranty thread and actually making valid points.
But the truth is that creating an anti-hacking plug-in isn't actually really possible. Even if MCSG does
create an anti-hacking system, someone will eventually find away to bypass the system. Using the base system,
people can create a whole new range of hacking mods.

The best we can do is report the hackers ourselves. :/

P.S. MCSG should create a "Anti-Hacking" forum considering the amount of these posts...
