Hacked Clients vs Optifine

That is not possible as far as I know.
Even if it was possible we would not have evidence which means some people could get banned forver even if they did not hack. They could not dispute it. So we would have to trust our anti cheat which of course we won't. Anti cheat plugin can't be 100% accurate.
Using a plugin to ban hackers forever is not an option.
Its only helping us to find hacker which we need to record by ourself.

I could care less about my cape. The cape is honestly just something I thought was cool when I got Optifine. What I would be most concerned about is the FPS drops that may occur due to this action. I believe that many players with considerably bad computers (laptops, old desktops etc.) would not appreciate this. We also need to keep in mind that staff is working on the current hacker problem, and we just need to give it some time. Eventually, each and every hacker will be held accountable for their wrongs, but we just need to be patient.

There would be a problem also with people who use Forge & LiteLoader... so I'm not 100% sure about this idea.

Lol this could be bypassed within a few minutes. All a client would have to do is to emulate a vanilla game server side.

Hey everyone,
i have done some thinking and i know that the MCGamer staff team has most likely thought about this to.

Everyone hates hackers or players who are cheating, right?
Now this is an opinion of mine that i have thought of for a while, this could either go really good or really bad.
To fully get rid of hackers and hacked clients would be for developers to turn off all clients to the server, which means no clients other than the minecraft client its self would work, while connecting to MCGamer.
This would mean no Optifine though, and this is the concern which most players would not like.
Most players do use optifine, and banning all clients would take away the privilege to use Optifine.
So debating weather to get rid of all clients, which mean no Optifine, or keep all clients and have hacked clients as a part of MCGamer.

This is good idea but the server could lose some members as not everyone has a good computer and may not be able to play without optifine, I think its a good idea though

There isn't a way for a server to distinguish a vanilla client from a "hacked" client.
