It's pretty unfortunate that it is not on Mountain Lion .
Oh well, but I am tremendously sorry

It's ok!!

I get a pretty decent 70-90 FPS with Normal render distance and almost everything fast graphics. (optifine)

Only bad thing is that when I'm on Skype I go down to 20-40

This applies to the whole Mac OS and for laptops, although just click on the battery at right bottom corner and change it to High Performance.
