So you don't have a video card at all? If so it will make a HUGE difference, if you had an old card it will still make a big difference although it might not be quite as big.

ArgaJones but im concered because i am running 50 fps lowest settings, i just have a good processor, havent put in my 8 gb ram yet and a crappy graphics card, will it really make that much of a difference? 50 fps on minimal settings to 60+ fps with shaders and medium settings?

However, if you can push $300, the new NVidia GTX 970 series surpass the 760 and 770 in basically every way, including performance, power consumption, and reliability thanks to its new Haswell architecture. If you can push that budget, I definitely suggest getting a 970, as it is an improvement on the 700 series in basically every way (minus cost, but one month ago the 770's and the 970's were priced the same). Only problem is the increase in price and finding a 970: they were released under a month ago, and demand has definitely beated out supply.
*Maxwell Architecture. Haswell is for the 4th Gen Intel CPUs like my i7 4790k (Well technically its Haswell Refresh [Devil's Canyon]). Sorry I really felt the need to correct since Im a huge tech enthusiast. And as for the part about the 970, I can personally tell you the struggle to find one was real. I bought my 970 card after 3.5 hours of searching for one that was a nonreference card (EVGA Superclocked ACX 2.0)

Definitaly, with a 970 and plenty of ram you'll get around 1200 FPS on tiny settings ( single player world )

Thanks for the correction. All the architecture codenames mix me up because they use names of cities and such, while my brain works better remembering model numbers. I probably stole the 4th gen Intel CPU architecture from my research in a previous computer suggestion thread. Glad to see someone's on the ball with those.

In regards to the search for a 970, I think that a few companies have started shipping their second waves of cards, including eVGA. I've seen a few restocked on Newegg, and Amazon has the cards from various suppliers at their MSRP (i.e. not given the rarity premium). Hopefully this round of cards will stick around sooner, and I'm probably going to pick up the first one from a trusted manufacturer that goes on sale (thinking Gigabyte, since eVGA's initial 900 cards had some issues with thermal paste placement).
