Lol it's ok, it's just I always tag him when I see someone with technical issues. :)

EDIT: Something weird is going on with the reply-quote thing.....

I'll put the usual questions here. :)
  • What country are you in?
    • This can affect who you buy the parts from
  • What is your budget?
    • Does this price include the mouse, keyboard, speakers, and monitor?
  • Are you going to edit videos, if so what program?
    • (this affects which graphics card will be more beneficial.)
    • (Sony Vegas = Nvidia, Adobe Premier = AMD, else = not sure)
  • Do you need wifi on this machine or are you able to use ethernet?
  • Preference between Windows 7 or 8.1?

I'm in Australia.
My budget is around 1000ish, however note I can go up if it's necessary. (I already have a keyboard, mouse, headset, monitor and wirelesss adapter)
I may do a bit of editing, probably with movie maker haha. Thinking of getting sony vegas (would prefer nvidia card)
Wifi is needed, yes

windows 7: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986

I get 300 to 500 fps while playing and 90 while recording but I could get more if i did a single monitor setup instead of a dual
I will recommend you find a different case then what i have put down as it was slightly hard to fit all the parts in. Also you will need to get 2 sata 3 cables and thermal paste. If you plan to render videos do it overnight. I hope this helped you!

If you don't want to build here is a good gaming laptop and desktop
laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231320
desktop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220405 power supply needs to be upgraded to around a 750w but other than that it should be fine

its more likely to blow out though and often you can't make upgrades with a power supply like that
500W isn't more likely to blow out. In fact in theory 750W would be more prone but that's besides the point. The only way one is more likely to blow out is if the 750W is a well trusted brand such as Corsair and the 500W is some cheap and crappy no name brand where you were their first customer this quarter.
