Hey guys, TNTime12 is here and I wanted to talk about something that starts to be a pain in the butt, and its the map voting system. Now this might be a long thread but I don't really care so lets get into it.
1. Back in the good old days before MCSGv2 came out, Voting and trying to get a map that is not breeze island or survival games 4 would be almost impossible, and if you do get it, everyone is gonna start spamming and hating it on the chat, which is really sad because the map makers spent MONTHS if not even to get this map accepted to mcsg and that's what they get? Just think for a sec how it it is gonna hurt the map maker when he sees that 99% of the players hate his map.
2. Now when MCSGv2 came out the voting system chanced so you wont see the same map that often if you play on the same server (before mcsg started to add new maps almost every month) So that was when you would see maps as Fortress Pyke, survival games 1 2 and 3 a bit more often which was great but then came May or June 2013 (great memory) When Vallyside University, Holiday Resort, and the 2 new versions of Breeze Island came out (Freeze Island is now removed) and that's when mcsg started to get a bit worse. I'm not saying that the new maps are bad, I love them but they get WAY too overplayed and That doesn't give a chance for any other great maps to be played
So yeah, this may not be my best thread it but I think the the mcsg staff needs to do something about because the new map that was added to the server, Teweran Survival Games 3 isn't getting played that much and that's for a team that made the 2 other great maps.So in my opinion the voting system needs to be a bit different ( yes I know this isn't easy but it has to be done one day).
So what do think? do you agree that old great maps need to be played more often or you want to stick to the correct voting system?
