Fix it. Go back to 1.6.2 and stay. I have been disconnected from multiple games. I'm done. I swear MCSG is not fun at ALL. Trying to update to 1.7.2. I lost games because of disconnection. I just got disconnected from 2 games when I had full iron and a diamond sword. My Skype partner said the others had basically nothing. The breeze island game it was me and this other guy. He was AFK. I was getting ready to kill him then it says "the server you were playing on has been shutdown." No. It wasn't. The AFK guy won. I swear. Fix your stuff MCSG. The servers are going down. Fast.

Not trying to be rude or anything but how about you try fixing over 300+ servers which have problems which you can't handle. Try that. The Devs where they butts of for you to just play on this server.

We understand about the connection problems. But you have to trust the development team that they are doing all they can.

I understand how annoyed you must be. Same thing happened to me many times (even though I'm still in 1.6). However, please try too understand that A: The Devs are doing the best they can. B: Straight after an update maintenance, there are a few bugs that usually appear. C: Please don't be disrespectful to the staff. It's not their fault that the server is glitched up. Plus it's not like they did it on purpose.

I've also crashed in most of my recent games, and I'm also on 1.6.2 (never bothered to update). I use Magic Launcher for optifine. Any fix ideas?

Alright, how about I clear a bit up before you get more pissed. The beginning of all new big updates, there will be bugs. This literally happens every update, 10 or so threads are made HATING on MCSG. Look, if it's buggy, don't play it. If you can deal with it, play. Simple as that, so please stop blowing off steam like this and be patient.

I hate 1.7 so im not gonna update and this is happening to me to i havent won the past 8 games or so because i keep gettig dc or kicked from the server. Honesly done until MCSG fixes it.

These servers are fine for what they are at the moment. We just had one of the hardest updates to code for in history, as it reconstructed half of the data.

Be patient, If not... go to the toilet instead.

I'm not sure why some people decide to do this, but if you weren't aware, complaints like this come up every time minecraft updates. We aren't going to stay on an old update for many reasons. 1.7 comes with many benefits, some under the hood, and some not. I suppose we could stay at 1.6 until all the bugs get worked out from this current build, but we can't. Do you know how bugs are solved? Usually, with data. Before things can be fixed, you need data. We can amass so much more data with all of the servers updated, rather than just testing it with a few people over a long period of time. If we don't update quickly we lose players, as many would rather update to stay connected to most servers, rather than downgrade to connect with one.

Your post itself contains no true constructive criticism, and it really doesn't serve much of a purpose. Hopefully you can understand why we have to update now that I've illustrated our position a bit, but there isn't much point in this thread remaining open any longer. If you have any further questions regarding why updates are a necessary part of keeping a game/community going, I would be happy to answer via a conversation.
