Friend Rank Getting Removed

So I may be exaggerating as I know not all moderators get friend after a month. Although, I'm sure some moderators do apply for just the rank.

It's definitely possible that this could have occurred in the past. However, in my opinion it could be quite clear to the sr.staff if a moderator was to be inactive during his tenure and to retire expecting a friend rank. I'm sure the administration staff have ways to ensure that all moderators fulfil their duties to make sure these things don't happen and that the staff's intention is to better the community rather than obtaining a "free" rank.

I think friend rank should be removed completely.
