FPS Lag on 1.6? Try this!

OptiFine may help with the framerate issues, but the launcher frame drop issue is an issue with the new launcher.

I have a AMD Radeon 7540 HD and I have the AMD Vision Engine Control Center, but when I click "Power" it only comes up with "Platform Power Control".
Any help?

Im on the latest version of Mac OS X, on a 13' Macbook Pro Retina Display. And I dont see that option in the energy saver section. I used to get 100 fps now I get about 40fps. Any other tips, Forarian for me?
Also big thanks to you for taking all the time to do this!

If you don't see the option, I'm not quite sure what to say; for my OS X example, I used my mid-2012 15" MacBook Pro (non-Retina) running on 10.8.4.

By the way, Not every computer has 2 graphics cards. So it's kind of normal for most of you not to see the option.

Thanks! Fixed it to some extent, however the launcher is still generally slower.

I can't open NVIDIA Control Panel, it says something like " Nvidias screensettings aren't available, you're currently not using an screen connected to an NVIDIA GPU-Unit"

I have no Idea why, but I have been getting a higher FPS ever since 1.6.1 came out. Weird... XD
