You don't even have the balls to say if someone was banned, you don't allow swearing at all, any sort of insult gets you banned, the forums are 99 percent useless discussions with any sort of flame deleted (not on badlion).

Punishment information is kept confidential because some people don't want the reason why they are banned being publicly released. If you got banned for something and you were embarrassed by it, would you like everyone knowing or having access to your punishment history? Not at all. I do believe that Chad is making a system of where punishment history is now public so that shouldn't really be a problem and I don't see why making punishment information confidential is considered "babying" the community.

Why should we allow swearing. I can't think of one instance of where swear words should be allowed on MCSG. Some people find it annoying and inappropriate and we respect that significant part of the community that do not like swearing at all. It does not mean we are babying the servers, we are just respecting people's rights and making the chat appropriate and clean. Swearing also can lead to straight up abuse, and we do not want any of our players on these servers feeling uncomfortable or abused if we can help it. I can see why it looks like we are babying the server, but realistically we've weighed the pro's and con's and the filter has more pro's than no filter, so it stays.

If you abuse a player, you get warned and then you get banned. We don't want players to be attacked by some rogue 15 year old that is on a 5 losing streak. There is no instance where we should just accept people insulting others just because they feel like they're being babied. You abuse someone you pay the price like in real life.

Badlion is a relatively new server and quite popular, so of course they would have more discussion than our forums that have been up for 3 years. The forums aren't as great and full of discussion as it used to be so on this I will agree with you. However the only person that seemed to try and put effort into reviving the forums was Mooclan and since he's pretty much gone, not many forumer's can make intriguing threads like in the good old days.

I am yet to see how "inverted mouse" or "jitter clicking" could ever make a triggerbot check go off as I know how some of it works.

Talk to Dejay_ about the details about his ban, he can tell it better than me. I only know half the story and Dejay can do more justice by explaining his ban better than me.

1= That's why punishment information will no longer be confidential in the future.

2= Filter is better than no filter. We kept it because the pro's outweigh the cons. If you believe that the filter should be removed you can try and get in contact with an admin.

3= Oh okay I thought you meant in-game my bad. Well with flame most people hate it so that's why it's against the rules. Most deleted posts were deleted for a reason and you can ask any moderator and they can tell you, since you do have the right to know why it got deleted. But you shouldn't combine insult with flame because I got insulted by your post yet I didn't delete it since I believed I could reason with you.

4= Badlion is relatively new considering how long some servers have been around, including this one. Most of our main forumers are retired MCSG players that like to bash on the server and the staff all the time.
