Charizard. Period.
I still remember how I played pokemon red when I was 6 or so. I had an AWESOME charizard, which kicked everyones ass. It probably was only level 70 or so, but it felt like 9001. The rest of my team were all underleveled pokemons which almost never came to a use. I just catched new ones with higher levels. Charizard was the only one I actually leveled.
