krackan, I like your idea of a synopsis very much, but how restrictive will the topics be? This no doubt will be released when the Colonel issues an official writ of the rules, but it would be good to have some idea of the staff's opinion of where the line in the sand is.

Due to the relative difference between the Photography Contest and Speech Night, priority has been placed on organizing the Photography Contest. However, Speech Night is very much capable of occuring, perhaps even overlapping with the Photography Contest as well.

If you'd like to show your support for Speech Night, please be sure to post in this thread. And vote! We're looking for a large enough number of participants to make the event worthwhile.
