The only advantage I can think of VIP is when people sponsoring you, saying hi to you, and chase you in the game...

1st. Purple is like my favorite color
2nd. I like the bonuses you get, like: They don't see you when you join and so on.
3rd. I mean, I've bought 7 minecraft accounts. Looks like I don't have money for it? xD

I paid for Diamond Donor for the lifetime donor and it's the highest buyable rank. You can't really add in a new rank when lifetime is already an option
