now that's just not true. it took me MAYBE 2 weeks to get good with a rod, and that was when I first joined and only really played Roxbot to practiceUsing the rod in the "noobs" way (as in, spamming it to keep people away from you) is pretty easy, anybody can do that. In order to be good with the rod, however, takes practice and experience. It takes a while to hone in on aiming and timing your rod hits correctly in order to result in solid combos. To add on to that, the rod incorporates more opportunities to get larger combos, whether through some sort of straight line or strafe.
Roxbot is a good server for practicing PvP.now that's just not true. it took me MAYBE 2 weeks to get good with a rod, and that was when I first joined and only really played Roxbot to practice
Well it depends on how effectively you can use it. Two weeks can make you effective, but to be really good it can take months.now that's just not true. it took me MAYBE 2 weeks to get good with a rod, and that was when I first joined and only really played Roxbot to practice

If you really wanna get better don't play on roxbot lmao it's awful nowadaysnow that's just not true. it took me MAYBE 2 weeks to get good with a rod, and that was when I first joined and only really played Roxbot to practice
I have to agree with the first part just a bit. I guess you could go and play the MCSG kit 1v1's on Badlion. Also battlegrounds is good too.If you really wanna get better don't play on roxbot lmao it's awful nowadays
Play on badlion, the people there are 10x better than the ones on roxbot

that's just not true either. For one thing, spamming w will reduce your knockback, and now the skill gap is still very obvious, but not as clear as before.Sadly, we need rods to be a part of this game. There'd be no way to determine PvP skill without them, considering how badly the sprint button ruined PvP. There's a reason why the Better Sprinting Mod was never allowed on MCSG during 1.6 and prior, and it's because it would make PvP too balanced and all that's required to be good is aiming, clicking and luck. So, fishing rods are basically the only way to make PvP somewhat based on skill again.
