I think this is just a minecraft bug,it happens to me sometimes where after playing a game i go to join a different server and I get the bad login error,even though I have legit copy of minecraft and logged in fine before.

Mhm, but I meant after what you suggested. If you do have a legit copy of MC, restarting it should work
