Do different texture packs make you play differently?

I'll play decent with a random texture pack for a long time. Then I'll decide to go back and try default again. I find I always play a lot better after switching back to default, but as far as I know, it's all in your head.

I use a custom resource pack that I made. I think that a lot of things improve your pvp such as low fire, easier to see chests, and I think that a bow that shows colours such as green yellow then red make it easier to rapidly fire critical shots

So, the other day I managed to make my own custom pack by mixing the cool parts of all my favorite texture packs. I finally found the texture pack that I want!!!

I then noticed that my playing was a bit different.....I kind of was playing better and gaining more wins.

So, does having a texture pack that you enjoy make you play better/worse, or is it a mental thing where your brain tricks you into thinking so?

I honestly think some do. Ones with lighter colors make me want to kill more players. (Don't ask why.) so yes, I believe your theory is correct, sir.
