I do not think she should have been arrested. There is a certain meaning to a joke. There are limits, I know, but to arrest someone? I would like to know a few more details:
How long is she being kept in prison?
When exactly did this happen?

If you watch and/or read the news, you would know that a Canadian boy once made a sarcastic joke about school being horrible and insulting the school. A lady saw this, and immediately called the police. He made hate remarks about school, and though outside of school, he was dealt with.
This leads to another debate, information selling and tracking, especially on the internet.
Hopefully I will make a thread about that, later.

The internet can be deceiving. Don't say anything you'd regret.

Yes, she's an idiot. A complete idiot.

Now, terrorism jokes are quite possibly one of the dumbest/worst jokes to make, but let's be real: If we had to arrest every single person in the US who's said a 9/11 or terrorist joke, they'd have to make separate jails for us.

What puts her apart from the rest of the everyday jokers is the fact that she tweeted it to a freaking airline. That's basically like prank-calling 911. What in the Hell do you think's going to happen?

Some jokes that take balls to do, CAN be funny, but with a prank like this you're just asking to be arrested.

Yes she deservers all the punishment she gets. You don't joke about terrorism, especially to the United States as they have been attacked with countless terrorism acts. The Airline was just being precautionary, as it should have been.

This is a good time to use a quote from 'The Social Network': The Internet's not written in pencil, Mark, it's written in ink. I honestly feel sorry for the lass, a little humour doesn't kill anybody.
