For anyone reading this that doesn't know what the title is referring to, or aren't familiar with the Counter-Strike pro scene, currently there is a Counter-Strike major being hosted called Dreamhack Winter 2014.
Around 5 hours ago, the number one ranked team in the world Fnatic defeated the number two team, Team LDLC on the final map of the series Overpass.
There are 30 rounds in a map and you need to win 16 to win. The score was 12-3 in favor of Team LDLC before it shortly became 13-3 on the pistol round of the second half. Fnatic become desperate as their tournament life is in danger, so what do they do? They pull out their secret weapon they have planned for over 2 months. Normally, you can only see parts of the map at once as you are in first-person and there are building, obstacles etc. Fnatic pull a desperation move and exploit the map in multiple areas, one of which is now nicknamed, "The God Boost." http://imgur.com/AFVdPGT.
As you can see he can almost see the entirety of nearly 60% of the map, and what makes this worse for LDLC. No one has ever seen this used before and are clueless.
Team LDLC ended up losing the match 16-13 as they only figured out where the player was being boosted when it was 13-13. By then it was all too late, they had no money, and they were on the disadvantaged side.
LDLC have filed a complaint to the Dreamhack admins who will make a decision on whether to award Fnatic the victory which will put them in the semi-finals, or chose to have the two teams replay the map without "pixel-boosting."
For anyone reading this, if you know what is going on could you please post your opinion below as I would like to see what people think about this.
I believe the entire map should be replayed as LDLC used a semi-illegal boost, although no where near to the extend Fnatic used.
