I have had to send back my power supply because it burnt, and I got it back. I plugged everything in, and it seems like the computer is working because the fans are going. The problem is when I plug in the HDMI, it says that there is no signal. Please help me!

try:

1. Disconnect HDMI cable from the computer.

2. Unplug the power from monitor/computer for 10 minutes.

3. Plug the monitor back in

4. Connect the HDMI cable to the monitor

5. Turn the computer back on.

Also make sure the HDMI cable is plugged in properly (none of the silver end bit being visible).

Do you have a graphics card or are you using integrated graphics from the processor?

Thread moved from Community Corner to Computer and Tech Support

Edit: Check if you have connected extra power connectors to the graphics card. Your GPU may need extra power directly from the power supply. Try reseating the GPU.

Alright, here's what you should do:

Unplug any cables from your PC, turn off your PSU.

Open your PC, remove the GPU.

Plug any cables back in, reconnecting your HDMI to the motherboard iGPU.

If that doesn't work, your motherboard is probably fried. If it works, the issue lies with your GPU.

What PSU did you have before? It's possible that damage to other components is covered under its warranty.
