Chest Tier Opinion

Hey everyone! In this article I am going to be sharing my opinion on the MCSG chest tiers at the moment. Honestly, I liked it a LOT better about a year ago when there were no tiers and it was basically fair game for everyone. I loved having trouble finding food and lacking armor. It put up more of a challenge and made a more efficient hunger games aspect of the game. Now, most people would disagree with me because they like the tier 2's because they go out, get full iron armor and win the game. Sure that's how you win, but honestly in my opinion it would be a lot more fun if the chests had no tiers. Sometimes I play on the nexus and it's so much easier and fair because there is no tiers so everyone has an even chance no matter what. People don't have OP chest routes with 50 tier 2's on the nexus because there's no tiers. This is just my opinion, so I don't want people flaming at me in the comments saying that tier 2's are what makes MCSG awesome N' stuff. Anyways, thank you for taking the time to read my rant about the tiers and I hope this will be taken into consideration because it would be SO cool to bring back old times and good memories.

Chest routes are part of the game. It takes more skill to have to learn routes on all the maps then just running around and looking for any chests. Also, no one would have an even chance if it were just tier 1s. The better players would still win. The only thing that would change would be that the games would be shorter because with less protection it takes less hits to die.

Like I said, we all have our opinions. Also, I never said everything would be tie 1. I'm talking having no tiers. Like you can check a chest not knowing if it will have leather leggings, an iron chestplate, a chicken, or a diamond. It will all vary.

I partially disagree, knowing where to look for chests when you don't have a route also takes skill. If you play enough you will learn patterns. Like understairs, in fountains, and on top of things are good places to look. However yes, having a route also does take skills so you could argue either way.

If there is a good route on one map with plenty of Tier2s, more players go there -- forcing fights. Without these routes, players wouldn't have reason to go somewhere where there are already people.

If we removed Tiers, games would last longer.
