Chat Off

I have been recently playing MCSG and was disturbed by all the unnecessary, constant chat. I am aware that there was previously a /chat off command which still left the player with all the tributes left and voting messages and moderator chat. I believe this command was taken away during the MCSG v2 update. I was wondering if we could bring back this very useful command. Thanks!

Why implicate it, when you can already toggle it on/off in the 'Multiplayer' options for minecraft... I believe you can turn it on/off, change the opacity/width/size, colour toggle the chat...

This setting turns off all chat and doesn't allow special MCSG messages during the game for how many tributes are left, the countdown until the game starts, and the lobby voting messages for the person to see.

No. This is pretty dumb since there is a feature in game. Just have "Commands Only" activated.

THAT does not block chat, it simply stops you from talking... It's more like.. say youre a parent, and you dont want your kid talking on minecraft, you switch it to commands only so your kid can still /hub, /spawn etc. But can't talk to others..

That blocks all chat except for commands...
