Chat moderators

I see no real point in having chat Moderators. It would be much more easier and less complicated to just screenshot the users and report them. The toxicity of AU is one of the regions major problems, if you feel you want to prevent the toxicity- apply for Moderator! We need heaps for AU!

I know how the process works^ I've screenshotted and reported many times but now I just avoid playing much anymore, I feel so idk... yuck, after a game on au sg, I usually log in to see people arguing in the hub, or ingame only to see trash talk, people making fun of others with not so good ratios/stats, bullying, swearing/bypassing filter etc. It's just not fun anymore. US servers are really nice to play on, people aren't so nasty but that's because it's a much larger community than AU + more mods. If only I had a better connection to it :/

Moderating the chat is part of the job of the moderator position. What you're basically proposing is hiring people to only do part of a moderator's job, similar to proposing people who can only ban hackers. If you see that the chat is not being moderated efficiently enough, feel free to tell a moderator or Sr. Mod, and it can be brought up to give a reminder to mods to do their full jobs.

I do, however, understand that toxicity is a massive problem on AU. What I'd say is just have moderators pop over onto AU in their spare time to keep the chat clean.

I don't know who said that wasn't punishable, cause that's pretty offensive and would definitely warrant a ban in my book

I can't remember, I'll try and find (btw it was keraby and _hookasmc_ or something like that that committed the crime).
