Stop it. Don't do it. It does nothing but annoy people like me to the point of wanting to throw my computer through the window and punch a hole through anything I can find. At least if they succeed in killing me, which is rare. There are few things I enjoy more than seeing how fast people back away after trying to punch me to death when I get a weapon.
Guys, if you're new, (and obviously most people on the forums aren't, but maybe some are)... you should NEVER be doing this. You must always avoid any contact whatsoever with other players until you can find a weapon. Chasing someone down specifically for the purpose of attempting to punch them to death is possibly the stupidest thing you can do on MCSG. it just makes them incredibly angry and more likely to want to hunt you down specifically. Lately it seems like people just don't understand this. If you're so focused on punching and not on what you should be; collecting chests, you're going to end up having someone who is smarter than you find a chest with a weapon and murder you. And you've just wasted a whole game, and made yourself look like a complete imbecile.
Is there ever a situation you should do this? If it involves chasing or following someone, never. The only situation where attacking without a weapon would be appropriate would be if you wanted to punch someone to knock them away from the same chest you're both going for. This can be quite useful at times. But be careful. This might make the other person decide to try to punch you death.
So remember, don't chase someone to punch them. And you will save yourself from dying and others from getting extremely P.O.ed.
