Retirement Letter

It’d normally be called resigning, but for me I like to think that retirement is a better word. As some of you may know; and I’m sure at this point many of you don’t know that I’ve been a mod for a pretty long time. The total run has been exactly 1 year and 256 days, for anyone who’s keeping track. To my knowledge I’ve held my rank for the longest of anyone active. (That information came to me from an admin several months ago).

Sad to see you hang up the badge, but I think you did a great job of moderating. I actually remember when you got mod way back when I had recently joined the forums. I've enjoyed talking to you on the forums and I hope everything else works out for you

Dak, I'm sad to see you go. You were honestly one of the best mods we've had here, either when I was a mod, or now. You were someone I could always trust to do your job, and to do it well. After I resigned, you would be one of the first people I would look for if I needed any moderation help. You were willing to share your honest opinion on controversial topics, and I nearly always found myself agreeing with you. Though we may not have talked too much, I consider you a friend, and I'm sad to see you go. Still stick around a bit, at least on the forums, alright?

Those times back when you were a mod and I was still relatively new were probably the most fun I ever had, and by far the most active I ever was as a mod. I will still be here, don't worry.
