This has never happened to me since I do this: so usually I get into a spot you don't get trapped or somewhere safe where it takes time to get you, every 10 seconds i check my surrounds while pressing "q" in my inventory. Just always make sure your inventory is clear of stuff you don't need before killing someone or a team

Surround yourself in fire in a corner, and throw stuff out.

I would burn my stuff in a house with one door so I know if anyone's coming in and I can burn my stuff safely
