To be honest, I don't see why people are making the terraforming suggestion, although it seemingly does need smoothing, a cave like this does seem by the least a little realistic, maybe it is to show how much the cave is withering or how old it could look. It also gives that natural look as well. c:
All in all, I kind of want this to get accepted, this map idea is actually original to me, especially when it is an abandoned mine combined with sand. Now that is awesome.

Thanks and I'm not sure of the exact radius; it might be anywhere from 150 to 250 blocks.
