Even though I've never been bullied in real life, I have been online and it isn't as bad as in real life, but it's really sad that he physically bullied you, as well as verbally calling you insulting words, if you love what your doing, then continue doing it, no one can make decisions for you, nor can they control the way you think about the things you love and enjoy, don't listen to other people, putting you down due to 'weak' sport, swimming is very hard and requires a lot of muscle so I don't know what they were talking about, the people who were bullying you, should think about what they say to other people, because they have no idea how this may impact the persons lives, no matter how big or small the insult/situation is. I never understand how people could be so heartless to treat someone like that, Bullying is unacceptable and it shouldn't be experienced by anyone, no matter how innocent they are, or how much they deserve it, it's the wrong thing to do and it should never continue in any way. I hope you don't experience this again luka, especially in the future, no one should be experiencing bullying, especially at this age. Stay safe and most importantly stay strong luka, I'm always here if you need someone to chat to, love ya bro

Don't show that you are hurt, it's hard when he has repeatedly kicked you in the chest it gives him that satisfaction of thinking that he is superior than you. If you are are strong and work out, next time he hurts or harasses you get in his face let him know that you can stand up for yourself.

I would suggest you start martial arts. Really fun too, actually.
I've only gotten bullied when I was like 7 years old, in the start of Elementary school, but 1 day I just gotten tired of it and I started beating the sh*t out of the kids that bullied me. Literally. Ended up these kids were actually pretty nice and now they're my friends.
Don't let the other kids bully you, just fight back. Or if you can't, just go tell it to a teacher.

The best advice I can give to you is to say to steel yourself and don't give them too much of a reaction. Avoid conflict with them, and if it's the rugby that is where the problems occur, stay away from playing for a while, as hard as that may be.

Hello. You guys may or may not know me, but to me, that is irrelevant. My IGN is Southward and if you see me around say hi.

Alright, that's enough introducing, today I am going to talk to you guys about something personal. I am hopeful that you guys will read and respect my story. Here goes:

So, I am currently Year 8 at primary school, I live in New Zealand and I have been affected by bullying. I am an emotional person, that's just who I am, I can't change that. But I have been made fun of because I swim and I don't play rugby, therefore I am deemed "weak". This of course makes me sad that they would call me weak, even though I go to the gym for swimming. I work out more than they do, I am Head Boy at my school and I am a lot smarter than they are. But somehow, because I don't want to play a sport that can seriously hurt people, I am a pussy. I don't know what gives them the authority to do this but oh well.

So, continuing the story. I do play rugby occasionally at school and there is one kid who thinks it is hilarious to make me cry. I am on the ground, trying to release the ball while 5 other kids are on top of me trying to drag the ball away from me. I held on, trying to release the ball while this kid kicked me and yelled "Release the ball you f**k wit!" so I did release the ball. And because I was crying after he repeatedly kicked me in the ribs, it was hard to make out what I was saying. But what I was trying to say was "I did release the ball!" but he just laughed as I ran away from the scene.

What infuriates me is that the teacher was watching this all unfold and she did nothing. The only thing she did was say to me "It's hard to release isn't it".

That is my story, do you have any advice to deal with this bully?

Bullies want to make you feel bad. Just keep going with life. Ignore them. In fact, do the opposite. Become happier. Be nice back to them. They'll feel the love they never felt before.
