Boombeard's battle needs to be removed...

Well, there's a new crappy map called Boombeard's battle. First off, all of Corn is water, along with 50% of the map. How is that suppose to be fun? 2nd off, 6 people spawn in the beginning of the game right next to the Corn chests, making it impossible for the others to get the chests. 3rd off, there are no other tier 2's in the whole map, maybe like 1 or 2... 4th off, you can get a diamond chestplate, WTF was mcsg thinking when they accepted this map?!?!

http://puu.sh/5F2mT.jpg - You can get a diamond chestplate, Enchanted... Seems legit. Please remove this map, for it is probably the worse map in MCSG... By far. Whoever made this should not get their VIP.

Well, for the record, none of the ones since the last map addition a few months ago have.

That statement really stings to a map maker, at least I would be offended. I think it's rather rude, they did try and probably put a lot of work into it. It may not be quite up to standards (I don't know, haven't played it) but you could get your point across in a nicer way.

I played my first game on it and died to a team of four - at corn.
I don't really like the map, but give it at least a week...

Another note: The creator of the map hasn't played a single MCSG game... (unless I spelled their name wrong - which I'm pretty sure I didn't)

But still.. It's a huge water fight map, where teams clearly dominate. It's hard to dodge arrows because the water is only 5 blocks deep... So bows will dominate, especially with the low amount of tier 2 chests.

Why would they accept a map by someone who hasn't played mcsg once? >.<. They knew there would be problems with the map.

Anyway, if there are issues with a map, you don't need to remove the whole map. You didn't need to just spew a bunch of insults towards the map and it's maker in the way you did. It is possible to take out the diamond chestplate and I'm sure they can deal with the pre-game spawning issues quickly. I'm sure the map will be re-tiered at some point to add some tier 2 chests.

Also, I'm glad they've added this map. At least pvp will be less generic. People will need to learn how to efficiently pvp in water for this map and it will add a variety to MCSG. Skills learned in this map can be used in maps such as Breeze Island and Holiday Resort which also have a fair amount of space for water based pvp.

Well, I suppose you're right. But whoever has a bow with 5 arrows, has an easy kill... It's really hard to dodge arrows because the water's so shallow. It'll also be hard to take on teams because there are no flat areas in the map you can fns people at. And the islands are too small to run around without jumpin into the water eventually. If you don't have a rod then you're probably screwed. And you still could be screwed if they're a decent team with bows and arrows. In the end teaming will be way to OP here, and it's not suited for clan battles either. So yeah.

Every map has their strengths and weaknesses. In Solar Frost, kinda difficult to escape if you're being chased by a team. It's way too easy to cut people off. In SG5, in most areas, impossible to F&S. In the Moonlight Lake corn there's loads of water so again, bows are useful and powerful. People need to be willing to adapt and find a way to play on every map instead of expecting builders to conform to a certain, restrictive criteria.

Origins was made by someone who's played like 1 game and it's a great map.

I was playing on this on he skydoes minecraft server, and it was a nice map, so whatif the tiers are messed up, that can be fixed, and who cares if he hes not played mcsg. Its a decent map, though not my favourite.
stop moaning it took a long time to make an is probably better han whag yku could do.
it tales a lot of time to fix things up like tiers, but they eventually will get done...

So is Breeze, and yet that it one of the most overplayed maps. So I suppose people think differently?

That's because if you jump on the pressure plate on your pedetisal it gives you a boat to sail to corn with. Everyone can do that at the moment. (We are releasing a new version of the map soon without any boats however).

And even if 6 people did spawn at corn, that wouldn't be a reason to remove the map. It would be a plug-in problem, not the maps.

3rd off, there are no other tier 2's in the whole map, maybe like 1 or 2...

That's double... And how is tier 2 count a reason to remove a map?


4th off, you can get a diamond chestplate, WTF was mcsg thinking when they accepted this map?!?!

Please remove this map, for it is probably the worse map in MCSG... By far.

As for the enchanted armor, we know about it. In the new version we're releasing later today, there will be no boats nor OP items.

And again, why is OP items a reason to remove a map? It still looks... well, look above.
