Question, how does it detect the difference between BSM and 1.7 sprint?

Because BSM it's self sends out a message to the server saying that the client has BSM installed.

I just have one question: if a person gets temporarily banned for 60 seconds and wants to apply for the position of Moderator, would this 60 second temporary ban get in the way of him/her becoming a moderator?

Most of you Moderators, or staff members in general, think that BSM allows you to sprint sideways and backwards. This is what I don't get, BSM gives no further advantage then the 1.7 sprint. They're both the same.

The plug-in is made to detect BSM, not Optifine.

YES! I have told everyone this! You can't sprint in different directions in multiplayer.
