There's no approximate date as of now. I will keep you guys updated with what we are currently discussing though - should we have private servers?
The question is harder to address in AU because of the general nature of an AU clan battle. You guys typically have 4v4s which seems like a very small amount of people if there are no other random participants. Also, some clans have the strategy of getting the majority of their gear from other people in the game.
Your opinions will help us come to a decision faster. Thoughts? One option is asking all clans to have at least 6v6s if we have our official AU Clan Leaderboards in private servers. However, I know a lot of clans would not be able to meet that requirement.
If we move the AU scene to private servers and raise the minimum of players in a CB to 6, it will get clans to accept more often and get more players on AU participating.
My thoughts on the random are semi-mixed, some clans do infact rely on randoms for loot (especially on newer maps). Removing randoms will completely remove the idea of alts being in the game aswell as hackers and large teams, this will bring out the more strategic side of things (knowing where to go and what to do).
Having private servers would focus on them and them alone, having to be better at PvP aswell as knowing how to play and go is what a clan battle is. I believe this whole Private Server idea is a must.
