Are there any good fraps alternatives? Fraps is kinda messy imo.. Free software if you will.

Also, can you record sound with bandicam? And if you register in bandicam, do you get the www.banficam.com -text off?

It all depends. If you were looking for a better quality screen recorder, go with Dxtory. However Dxtory causes your fps to drop like crap, and it uses more memory as well.
If you were looking for a smooth fps screen recorder go with fraps. The quality on fraps is a smidge lower than Dxtory however there is no big difference and it uses up less memory.

Over all, I would choose fraps, especially since you are going with a GT graphics card rather than a GTX. GTX graphics cards are much more powerful than GTs. So I would recommend fraps. If you choose to go with GTX, go with Dxtory. :)
No no no no no... QuickTime Player is the best goddamit.
No, only macs have QuickTime screen recorder :p. If you are on Mac, I would recommend Voila Screen Recorder or Screen Flow and of course the best of all : Snapz Pro. My favourite is Snapz Pro as it causes no FPS drop. Screen Flow is overpriced and it causes more fps drop. Voila is a cheap 30 dollar recorder however it causes a tiny FPS drop :p. Altogether I would say Voila and Snapz Pro are the Fraps for Mac and Screen Flow would be the Dxtory for Mac :)

Read my opinion on the Mac screen recorders. :) It helps a lot for Mac YouTubers.

I believe fraps is the best for PC, I'm pretty sure it takes up quite a bit of RAM though so keep that in mind. For mac it's screenflow all the way (as long as you don't pay those 100 bucks for it xD)

If you want to make youtube videos i would recommend Xsplit because you can basically do the whoule editing part even before you start and it's so easy and the files are very small, but then again you didn't want to pay for it.

Other option is Fraps. The files for Fraps is HUGE, but the good thing is that fps doesn't drop to much when using it. I recommend also getting Camtasia to render the files in, a lot easier to use than sony vegas and if you use the preset for youtube HD it looks quite nice. This is how the quality will turn out:
