I highly recommend a Steel series siberia elite. It is soo comfortable, and can be worn for hours. You shouldn't have any of the same probs as the beaches. Hope this helped. The surround sound is also very useful. This opinion is coming from someone with 1500 wins.

I'm using them right now. Comfortable circumaural headset, and the mic is retractable yet has good quality. And at that price, it's hard to beat.

Used to be priced at $250, but recently they've dropped the price and is holding steady. Excellent reviews and top rated, it's a high-end contender without breaking the bank.

All in all, whatever you do don't go wireless unless you're willing to sacrifice reliability for convenience, or if you're willing to shell out $200+ bucks for a wireless. In my opinion, I value reliability and value over convenience, which is why I much prefer wired over wireless.
