While some maps do have default trees, generally people dislike those maps. Custom trees give maps a nicer look overall.

Your map is nicely built, it's just that the houses and trees need a bit working off. The houses aren't too special and you should try to redo them instead of making them square houses with a triangle roof. Google tips on how to build nicer houses and learn from those tutorials because they help a build a lot. Also your last screenshot looks like that's a place for a Minecraft PvP Resource Pack Review thingy. Might want to remove that because from what I see, it servers little to no purpose.

Your transition to birch and jungle wood seems too abrupt. I would recommend sticking with jungle wood as your biome is a jungle, birch is too light and counteracts with those environment making it seem weird.

So overall...

-Builds are too simple
-Needs custom trees
-Work on the coloring of blocks you use
-Terraforming seems a bit weird at times, i.e some areas look like dirt houses.

Yes people hate sg4 and valleyside 10/10
(but custom trees do look better)

That's only screenshots,im really bad at taking screenshots so it looks bad.You can download map and go see all map,and then criticize us.You said that map and buildings are too simple.But people like that look in comments,that is point of map,very flat and simple

I have a few problems with this map as of now.

1: The terrain in some areas is not very well blended. I would recommend installing "Voxel Sniper" to help you terrain a little better.

2: There are NO custom trees at all. People want to a map that looks different and away from default minecraft, so you want custom trees. Here is a link to a few on my map to help you. http://i.imgur.com/WGyjYtP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/HGMyz5l.jpg.

3: Your builds such as the farms and houses do not look very detailed, they just look very bland with them being made up of just oak logs and oak planks.

Overall add some detail, install a few plugins to help you out with detailing and terraining. And please remove those trees. Otherwise its a good map. If you consider making these changes i'd like to see what this map becomes after the fact! Have a great day!
