I just find it a poor reason that it was simply because biasness. I expected this just to be another event where we can have fun that's all, but it clearly means something more. If people are selected by preference of skill according to the event holders, then what's the difference of them just asking people to play instead ;o

Its mainly just to see who can play from au and from nz. And also it is an advertisement for people to get hyped about. So thats probs the main reason.

I get it that you feel as if it's biased towards the good players (not saying that your not good) but this is New Zealand vs Australia. Each country has to use its top players in order to win. This isn't a sympathy horde.
