Also, regarding the points you made. If a moderator really responded the way you say in your post, PM me the moderators name and any evidence you might have so that can be fixed, as mods should not be doing that.
As much as we would love US staff to pitch in on AU, most cannot for internet reasons. It's quite hard to play a game hosted halfway around the world if your internet isn't pretty decent. We still do expect all moderators to pitch in where they are most needed though, even if all they can do is moderate chat.
As for hiring "new and dedicated" moderators, well, we are. The hiring process is always going, it's just a matter of reading the apps, judging the content, and conducting interviews, and that all unfortunately takes time. On the bright side, it's the length of the process and the scrutiny we put applicants under that gets us the best staff to moderate.
