1 mole of oxygen is 32grams. So 1.5 is 48 grams where's 24 coming from.
1 mol of Oxygen(O) is 16g. 1 mol of Oxygen gas(O2) is 32g. If I asked what 1.5 mol of Oxygen gas was, then 48g would be the correct answer :)

Well, if you aren't at least a sophomore in high school, I wouldn't expect you to get much haha

If you want to get technical, yes xD I only care about c when you actually have to find out what it is :p

Yes! Great correction haha There is definitely different acceleration due to gravity when looking at other planets. I am not a big physics buff :p
I've got a couple of years before I start college, but I learned that the photosynthesis equation was:
12H20 + 6CO2 (enzymes and light energy)----> Glucose (C6H12O6) + 6O2 + 6H20

Is the formula I learned more in depth, or is it specific to plants and not photosynthetic bacteria or something?

hen you say oxygen then you should give the formula just a heads up.

It's the same formula :) The one I posted is the reduced formula. Just cancel out the H20 on both sides, and you will receive the same formula!

I'm actually in Physics class right now. I could definitely calculate different gravitational relations if I knew it's relative mass and gravitational field strength in relation with Earth.

I also took chemistry last year. I could definitely do the Gram -> Mole -> Particle conversions way better if I actually remembered how.

First I need to see if I'm ready for High School. I'll try this again in four years ;)

If you plan on doing any science major in college, I recommend becoming very prolific in conversions of moles and grams (not so much molecules or atoms) because it is the very foundation of almost all of General Chemistry!

The answer key is a bit messed up... the answer to #5 is not 5 :p I think I got 15/20 though.
It was very messed up xD I fixed it, though! Thank you for notifying me :)

I looked at a few, did all right. I actually could have gotten into some small colleges with my SAT scores in 7th grade.
