That is exactly what I'm talking about. When you jump, once you reach the height of your jump, your character begins "falling", enabling crits to happen, so indirectly, jumping does cause crits.If what you're saying is that jumping causes criticals, I believe you're mistaken. A critical melee is caused by falling, not jumping. For proof, this is from the Minecraft wiki:
