To the staff and the Sr. Staff, let's admit it, this decision of removing AU has been dealt with completely irresponsibly and abruptly. Not only have you made part of your community quit, but you have stopped the revival of AU. Multiple staff members have resigned, some for different reasons unrelated to AU, others related to the removal of AU, but let's agree that the current state of MCGamer is worse than ever before. Say what you may say, this has happened with Ant and others before and when that happened, MCSG at the time was perfectly fine. Do note that before when it happened, the playerbase was almost at its peak, it was supported by many other staff members and Admins, not like now. From where I stand as a community member, this server is rotting away, with Chad's inactivity as well as the lack of Sr. Mods and Administrators now, there isn't much to regain what was lost.
I'm honestly quite disappointed, this whole thing would not have happened if you had simply fixed the bugs many players constantly complained and whined about. You have brought upon yourself this Snowball Effect, from not even being able to fix the known eating glitch and/or Flint & Steel glitch, to one of the most appalling anti-cheats I have ever seen, and now the removal of AU. Of course, many of us might have been still around if they reassured us that AU would be worked on to be revived immediately, however, you have lost most of the community's trust.
Admit it, the community does not trust moderators to actually ban people, I realize how hard moderators work but the amount of cheaters are insane. This server has become that one server where anyone can cheat on, the server where glitches don't get fixed at all, and the server where mods don't do anything at all. (I find the last one untrue though) Realize that it was your mistakes that led into this situation, we have pleaded, we have donated, many Youtubers have tried to influence their fans/viewers into the revival of MCGamer, the community has actually tried, and to be honest, all we should've done at most was donated which we have been doing.
If you honestly wish to fix this server, interacting with the community is key here. You may not understand but many other servers such as Badlion interact with their community, they know what their community wishes for and wants, and they give it to them. All they have done was this and their server has exploded exponentially. MCGamer on the other hand takes days or even weeks to create a decision such as removing a mod or allowing it.
I'm sorry for this rant you may call, but it's displeasing to know that one of your childhood servers you played on every day is simply rotting away into dust because of these mistakes that could've been prevented at a much earlier time.
Chad, if you want this server to flourish still, please pass down your ownership towards someone else, some people may say that a new owner could make the server even worse, or wouldn't do as well as Chad would, but in this current state, I don't believe that to be possible anymore.
