"Its so unfair that they can't join those 3 clans" Well maybe but those aren't the only 3 out there are and People need to explore their options not just join the 3 "Best" clans. (I know nothing of clans)
I don't think you see the point... that is kind of like making it illegal for policemen to go into certain bars, just because those bars may have caused trouble for the policemen in the past. People are able to explore their options when there aren't bans on certain clans, and I see almost no reason why this "ban" is even in place.

Edit:
Here's another thing.

Let's compare this issue to the segregation of races. After all, this is a form of segregation.

"Let's seperate the mods from the forgotten and rebels. Yeah!"

Sounds a bit like: "Let's seperate the blacks from the whites! Yeah!"
I would say that is a bit farfetched :p

This decision is such crap. 'We restrict our moderators from joining those 3 clans because they have caused trouble in the past.' Honestly, restricting people can sometimes lead to more drama than letting them have a choice. Also, these clan never tried to conspire, I know because I was observing this whole drama back in the BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER, 4 MONTHS AGO. We were never trying to take down MCSG; we were trying to make it the community that it should be, filled with happy members and overall cooperative.

I speak for the Rebels and Forgotten in saying that we don't want this community to fall down; we want it to rise up and be an even better community.

And the reason drama has started is because it is a brand new system. This thread was made less than an hour after we had been told the news about clans. Instead of complaining, making snide comments and not actually contributing anything, as most people seem to be doing, it would be helpful to explain how the system could be fixed, and why your clan doesn't deserve to be blacklisted.
Solution: Allow Moderators to join ALL teams or don't let them join any at all. Sweet and simple.

A lot of people have made valid points about how mods should be allowed to join any clan...

Hmm, seems like you have failed to look at

Look at it this way. Lets say I was a moderator, and I wanted to join Forgotten. But since I can't, I would be forced to join another team. Lets say I joined Titans in this case. Being in Titans would mean I would be seperated from my friends in Forgotten, and I would be forced to either fight against my friends, or not be in any team at all. I think making this rule of "Mods can join clans except for Forgotten,Rebels, and Legends" has caused alot more problems than it has solved.

Let mods join any team they want, or don't let them join a team at all.

Here's my problem with this.

Forgotten, sure, I can say that some members have some drama with staff. I'm sure everyone agrees with this.

But lets take a look at Primeval... I'm sure some members have had some drama with staff too.

and Titans. I know for fact that members of that clan have drama with certain staff.

So why only forgotten and rebels? Why not ban them from all clans? Or why not let them join all clans?

Don't ever think that I'm going to try to appeal and say that there's not going to be drama when Mods join Forgotten and Rebels. Because there's always going to be drama associated with being in a clan. Any clan is going to have drama associated with it. There's always drama associated with anything; being a moderator, you should be capable of dealing with that drama. They're the leaders of the community, the ones who help make the decisions pertaining to the community.

I can assure you right now: there's always going to be trashtalk and flame wars between every clan. There isn't a single clan that has said something to infuriate any other clan in existence. Forgotten included. Almost forcing Moderators that wish to join a clan into such little choice isn't fair either. It's going to force friends against friends -- I don't want to lose friends because they're going to have negative opinions about my clan members. Because I know that's going to happen. (pitting friends against friends, sounds familiar huh)

It isn't fair to single out three particular clans for an issue that every clan has and an issue that every clan will continue to have.

And last, but certainly not least

This is completely unfair.

First off, if we knew this were to happen while in the past, then we would have cooled off much quicker and not retaliated like we have in the past. Plus, not only was it in the past, but it happened a LONG time ago. I know that doesn't prove that much, but it does prove that we haven't been a thorn in anyone's butt for awhile and we don't intend to be one either.

Second, we're deprived of a couple Mod PvPer's that would benefit the teams greatly. Other than doing that, does not only disallow the teams from having these people, but they will be forced to join the other teams, increasing their strength, if they would want to join a team.

Third, if any Forgotten, Rebel, or Legend members are accused of any rule breaking, but not actually doing so, their chances of STILL getting banned will be higher than ever. Not only will it be higher, but it sure as hell will be easier for other teams to take the three teams down by merely accusing and getting SOME proof of any member "rule breaking."

Lastly, why are the Rebels included in this decision? From what I recall, they haven't done ANYTHING towards the staff. If anything, it should be directed towards ONLY the Forgotten.

PS. I don't want to see the, "Well, if you're not breaking any rules, then don't worry." because most of us all know that's a load of bull. I see people on a daily getting banned for reasons that don't correlate or don't have enough evidence/proof to ban for, yet they still get banned, so don't even bother replying with that.

Whether a mod can join a clan or not, does not concern anyone but the mods. Why? Because it's not anyone's business but the mods. If a moderator has a problem with it, they can talk to us. Other than that, members need to stay out of issues that do not involve them. Thread locked.

12. Do not interfere with issues between the staff and a specific player or group: Interfering with these issues could cause or intensify drama.
