Thanks for checking out the Land of the Lost! This is a 120 player Minecraft PvP map.
It contains 317 chests not including the cornucopia. I, and fartmanstan, spent over a month
working on this (if I do say so for myself) masterpiece. This map is 100% compatible with
1.7 and includes specific traps and areas only accessible in 1.7! Below is a render of the corn. To look at screenshots of the map without shaders take a look at the thread HERE!

"A 120 player map should have a minimum block diameter of 2000 blocks, and maximum of 4000. Spawn podiums need to start on the edge of the map or very far apart in the center to reduce client lag."
After experimentation with this, I found that the temporary (7-15 second) loss in FPS with close-together spawns is 100x better than the alternative, spread out spawns. A current glitch in minecraft causes most players (all players outside of ones own render distance) to be invisible! The only way to counteract this is to force all players together. I've spaced the players the MAXIMUM distance apart without invisibility. This is also why dual-cornucopia maps do not work as of yet. I apologize to those of you who do receive lag, but know that I've taken many steps throughout the building process to minimize lag.

In order for the platforms to disappear
fireworks must spawn under, or items must spawn
on top of the pressure plate. This causes a block update and deletes
the platform.
