1.9 ruined pvp

title. I'm on a iPad atm so i can't link the vid, but stuff like dual wielding is ruining pvp. 1.8 already made it garbage, 1.9 will put the nail in the coffin. Tene made a good vid describing it and its effect on pvp

I'm gonna have to disagree there, 1.9 is going to be the "Combat Update", this means that they are adding things that make it better, such as new arrow types like the spectral arrow. They've improved the Zombie AI, and revamped the end. They've also added duel wielding, which IMHO, will improve PvP. Not only have they added/improved multiplayer PvP features, but they've also made singleplayer better. Thanks Dinnerbone!

You won't be able to block arrows with a shield, it works the same as blocking, which I'm kinnda sad they're taking out.

The dual wielding isn't 'functional' dual wielding, you can't hit with two swords at once for instance. The additional hand is just effectively a holding hand and only really worth using to hold a shield or the arrow type you want to use.

None of these should effect SG, because if it's upgraded to 1.9 I highly doubt they're going to allow OP as hell arrows in chests or shields. Shields'll probably even be uncraftable.

Why? Because they are taking out sword blocking? Mojang can't just cater to the PvP community, people have wanted duel-wielding and shields for years.
