I use 1.7 because I am more comfortable with it when playing, the FPS is more stable to me, and I can start off combos with a simple blockhit however honestly it wouldn't matter anyway because every single game I play I get cleaned up after fights ;-;

1.2.5 - 1.6 = Golden days
1.7 = Rip the double tap
1.8 = what even is this
1.9 = no comment

I was using 1.7 when we downgraded to that. However, since I won a couple of games in a row when I was occasionally playing on 1.8, I use 1.8

I think after a while it was just a better idea to stay with 1.8 but now I'm use to 1.7 so everything is alright

The title of the thread says it all! What do you prefer / like better? 1.7 or 1.8?
Myself I would say 1.7 but i'm starting to get the feel for 1.8 because the combos are crazy and the fps is stable unlike 1.7. 1.7 combos are consistent though.

Im a blockhitter thats why i liked 1.7 better but when i saw the insane block hit Como of 1.8 i like 1.8 better now but f3+a in 1.8 would be nice because without it games are very long

I prefer 1.8 because there are + easy combos
+ ping
+ fps

The only bad part of the 1.8 are some bugs, such as the sword sometimes stop when you are fighting with a player, but I prefer it.

Personally, I prefer using 1.7. The main reason I use 1.7 is because of block hitting, otherwise 1.8 is nice for building.
