Pls help most of the threads that I have read are only helping me with dealing with teams of 2 or 3. I recently transfered from playing on US to playing on AS and every game I see a team. Can't blame them, playing with friends are fun and stuffz. But it's kinda ruining my stats. So if you can help, that'd be great. Oh and please give me tips besides the "Can't beat them, join them" thing.

"Even a smart man knows when it's time to run"

On a serious note, seeing as that its a big team trying to get them to split is probably your best option. How do you do this you ask? You run forrest, run! Try to out run them until they split up and you get an advantage on them. I recommend using FnS in a bottle neck. What I mean by this is that you should find an area to place FnS that allows you an easy escape but is narrow. This way if youre fast enough they'll run through the fire or be forced to hold up for a moment, buying you time. Also if you can't get them to split large teams normally need large areas to fight or they end up hitting themselves, which helps you in the long run. Hope this helped!

Run till the players on the team have some distance between each other (it'll happen eventually) then take them down like you'd take down a team of 2 or 3. You have to be quick, though.

Does enchanting help at all?
It does if you have a good strategy. Running into a team of 6 with a sharpness I sword and using nothing else definitely wouldn't work. XD

If you can run away until they separate, then you can pick them off 1 by 1

Well one way to make sure they don't kill you is /kill. It works every-time ;) Haha on a more serious note, if you are sure there is a large team in a Server, then try select maps that have Lava traps or high cliffs to better your chances at beating the team. Other than that your chances aren't great. I've only ever beaten a 6 team 3 times before. Solar Frost, Holiday Resort and SG4, needless to say it wasn't easy. But the use of the traps and having a lot of arrows definitely helps.

Hope this sort of helped you in some way.

Extra Note: Large teams very often get arrogant and generally end up making critical mistakes. Wait for that moment if you want.

I bet Bane of Anthropods I work a lot better XD . I prefer enchanting my bow to get Power I. And maybe my sword if it gets knockback I.

You realise there is a way to ensure every time you enchant your sword you get Sharpness 1? I found it out by chance c:

How?

IMO for the team issue, go on the offensive first. If you are always running from the first moment you could miss a good chance. Try running in, hitting, and running out without getting hit. DO NOT try to start shooting them before you are engaged in melee, because they will just move behind each other and regen and you will be wasting arrows.
