A lot of players simply use the fishing rod as a means of a pvp tactic, but what about enchantment?
With the all new 1.7, it is well know that new features to fishing have been added, however, it seems that not enough people appreciate this in an MCSG game.
(Find a map with water to execute this strategy perfectly.)
To start off with, with this strategy, a play should start by going to the cornucopia and picking up as many armor/weapons items that they can find in the chests. The player should then continue on to collect items from a preferably short route, in order to grant more fishing time for the future.
Once the player has completed their chest route, they should have a fishing rod by this point, and so should begin their fishing adventure. You need to find a lake, or river, preferably very open so that you can be aware of your surroundings and ambushing players, now that this is possible, a few options are open for you.
Many new items can be obtained now, and treasure is what we are interested in:
Fishing is a time consuming process, you should start as soon as possible and be aware of how much time it will take you to reach the enchantment table, and how much time it will take for you to get the levels to enchant your weapons and armor. You should aim for 6 levels, this will allow you to enchant all of your armor items, sword and bow, giving you a huge advantage over the other players in death match.
Although this is a strong method to use, it is more likely to be used by teams, this is because with 24 solo players, with the odd teams, it is likely that most of these players will be eliminated from the games very quickly, and forcing death match upon you before you have the opportunity to fish and enchant. If using this technique, it is important that you are patient, and can find ways of pro-longing the game length to maximize your chance of getting a good amount of enchantments, however, even one should give you a great advantage in-game.
The maps that I would suggest to use this technique on would be:
Good luck, I hope you enjoyed reading this strategy and will at least try it out, it works for me every time
Have fun
