Something Needs To Be Changed

As a person that has played mcsg for about 1 1/2 years, I highly recommend you do what RC does. I also only play a few games at most a day, and I try to play on other servers from time to time also to keep Minecraft interesting. I've also taken a few weeklong breaks from mcsg. In all, just make sure to pace yourself to keep mcsg exciting

Yeah i attempt, but the point i was getting across is i just don't enjoy it any time i play as much as i did before. I still do this so i can get those awesome games that are just so fun and the thrill of winning. Pacing is a good idea i just miss when i could play hours a day enjoyign every minute of it

Yes i agree i sort of didn't mean as i said as something needs to be changed, i don't want the game itself mcsg to be changed at all, i love it how it is, but i sort of meant something added not relating to how mcsg is played more on the challenge/competitive aspect.

Weekly and monthly leaderboards have been suggested many times as a substitute for not resetting the leaderboards. However, as you can see, it has not been done yet .

yeah i understand that won't be done but i just felt something similar like that would greatly increase my interest in this game.

I agree with this, playing solo can be fun in it's own right, but nothing beats competing with friends and meeting new people!

I understand what you're saying. I've been playing for over a year and a half and I really can't play alone more than 4ish games. Luckily, I'm in a build team which really passes the time and I met a lot of new people. What I really suggest however is joining a clan. You meet a bunch of new people, and it can really bring the competitiveness back.

I'm slowly losing my interest in this game every day. Something needs to change. Before i get into this topic i'd just like to say i don't want any flame or hatred as i'm just giving my opinion which may not be the same as anyone else, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Alright so everyone has heard of mcsg. The great and wonderful game made off of hunger game. But recently i haven't loved this game like i used to. I have lost interest almost completely, every once in a while i get a spike of interest and play for a short while only shortly to run out, just something needs to change. I love the idea of clans and such but still i get bored quickly and can't play this game for long before getting bored. Something even little could be changed such as weekly leaderboards to monthly leaderboards. Just something needs to spark my interest so i can get back into this.

I'm not sure if anyone agrees or even the opposite completely and you absolutely despise me for saying this, but for sure i'm not the only one. I love this game and i don't want it to end. I just hope something new will come along in this game and i can love and enjoy this game as i once did almost 2 years ago.

Also quick thing i hope this message came out fine as when i made this i was very exhausted and half asleep. Thanks for reading this and hope you explain your opinions as i would love to hear other people's opinions on this topic.

I completely agree. I think it has to do with the time the developers are able to put in, since they are the leaders on new projects. I know Forairan is the head dev, and he's still in high school. So I guess we will just have to wait until summer for fast updates on these projects.

To make MCGamer more interesting, these are some of the things that I think would help:

• New Maps Added Every Month
• Maps Decided by Community
• Large Amount of Beta Testing Before new maps/gametypes are released.
• All Gametypes finished
• Lag Fixed (Which I know they have a hard time controlling that.)
• A Less-Stressed Staff

Although I agree with just about everything there, new maps every month would be pretty hard to do. For the most part, build teams can't build entire maps within a month and neither can others. The flow of good maps to the forums is pretty low, and it would be really difficult to find maps that are good enough every month. Soon after this starts, they would have to start putting worse and worse maps on the servers, which we don't want. Also, if we add maps every month, then there will be even more maps on MCSG when many people already believe there are too many.

You might just have been playing too long. But for myself, despite playing for over a year and a half, I still find the game fun every time I play it. Why? Because I don't over-saturate what I do. I play other things a lot more often than MCSG, and I've been like that for a while, so that makes every time I play feel like a new adventure. Just take a break, that's what works for me.

RC, I need to take more advice from you, hahah.
