'Our passion are the true phoenixes; when the old one is burnt out, a new one rises from its ashes.'

That means a new era of MCSG is starting.

I'm saddened that a a lot of them were people that I considered active, or at least pretty reliable, and they knew what they were doing. Now we have a lot less Forum-active Mods, and I'm seeing that Sr. Mods are having to come and fill jobs like answering questions that normally a Mod would do.

But does that mean it'll be good?

Everyone has their reasons, but none of the moderators whom I've spoken to are retiring for suspicious or hostile reasons. As stated in their resignation notes, a majority of the reasons are to focus on real life, or because they are no longer interested in moderating here. Those are all fair reasons, and we should be happy that they're putting priority on things more important than a videogame.

The timing of the resignations are quite surprising, however. I'd say it's a matter of really coincidental and poor timing, but I don't want to think that people would be coordinating their resignations with others to gain the most attention. But hey, if people wish to leave on their own accord, we shouldn't stop them in accordance to timing.

As much as we're sad to see so many good mods depart our system, we should wish them well in their future endeavors. But in the mean time, the Senior Staff is already working to fill the gaps and continue moderating as usual.

I wonder if any of them have to do with the monthly quiz? I mean people applied to have a good time and help these servers, not to be tested every month if they tip top....

Just my opinion tho

nobodies hating on them, it is just concerning to see all the well known mods resigning at the same time.
