switching threats are empty, petty, and accomplish nothing.
It's not a threat, and I'm not doing it to get attention. I legitimately don't feel like I belong here, and that the community is at a gradual downfall. You don't have to agree with whatever I'm saying.

Look Im not trying to be rude but with survival going down. I really dont know why the real reason is but If factions was shut down for good MSCG Would Lose alot of people who play on the server becuase alot people a day. Mods are Resigning Due to other reasons and mods were created to Stop drama if MSCG just hired a little bit more mods there would be no problem If factions was taken out id probily never come on this server unless i wanted to play QQ witch i dont play that much but it would make MSCG pointless without factions becuase creative has been down forever so has Zedchase Teamfortress 2 all there is really left of MSCG thats making it so great is survival that is what i think of everything thats going on.

I community is at a gradual downfall. You don't have to agree with whatever I'm saying.
Really this rumor of the "community dying" is just BS. Like with any gaming community, there will be some issues (and yes, there are issues we hear there as well). Based on our last few months, our in-game community has grown over 20-30% in size and active players. Sad to see that more active members think that but yet again seems most of these people have personal agendas. This month, we had to actually upgrade our largest network to handle the demand yet not sure why the forum community is thinking this place is dying (which is far, far from it). Sure a few people will come and go, but there will be plenty of others with the silent majority to continue playing here. Our peak today was 6,200 players and over 94,000 unique usernames logged into the network.

Zedchase Teamfortress 2 all there is really left of MSCG thats making it so great is survival that is what i think of everything that's going on.
Our community seems to have bad luck hiring truthful and honest developers. Right now it's just Forairan and he is doing about 3 peoples job to get everything back online.

I understand that MCSG is technically growing, but I see that all of these well-known players leaving and never returning or getting banned without reason... it makes me feel like the community is dying.

Being well-known doesn't mean that when you leave, the community will follow you.

Yet a lot have still followed in their footsteps. I just don't know how to react to those threads, they make me feel all sad about it :c

You also need to remember that the forum community is a lot smaller than the in-game community. Yes, there are a lot of well-known members, but if they leave, a couple hundred people will just replace them.

If you just think back to the community at MCSG a year ago, it was completely different. Some people left, and people were saying that MCSG was dying. Nobody remembers that anymore. And just look at this network now; it's huge, and it's growing every single day.

This is the case with any community for gaming. They get bored, move on to new games or just stop playing period.

getting banned without reason...
I honestly laugh when people were banned for no reason as no staff can temp or perm ban without a reason (the system will not even allow the command to be completed). We are one of the few communities who actually make an effort to patrol the servers yet we are the most criticized for our actions? Doesn't make any sense as most people state the grass isn't greener on the other side. Every ban has a reason and no one is banned without one. If they feel their ban is unjust, we have a 3 step appeal process where their bans can get reviewed by members of the Sr Staff, the Admin Staff or even me.

Here's the thing. Most of you guys don't understand how much work Chad puts into the server. Not only Chad, but including all the admins and moderators. In a community you will always see the bad side more than the good side. You always look at what people are doing wrong or listen to people talk about the bad things. That's where the community; us as a whole is wrong. Were doing it all wrong when we complain about these problems. Sure there is always going to be drama and issues, but we have to look at the brighter side of things. Why don't we thank Chad for all the things he has done for us. Let's thank all the moderators for moderating their time for the server, and the new Quarter Quell servers. We never look at the better side of things, we are always so focused on the bad part. Let's not be like this and be positive. However when there is something wrong we do our best to solve the problem. Not provoke the problem and sit there watch it happen, but step in and help solve the problem.

I'd like to start off saying that pretty much every survival/pvp server really has drama and ALOT of raging. Places from Mcswish to smashbro's.. they ALL have tons of raging and accusations of hacks and personal shots..threats.. etc. That is just the nature of online PVP. People say they want to say because it's online and they really have no real consequences. It is really just come to be expected out of servers of that type. Even Mcsg in general.. if people could talk after killing eachother.. and they could see what they are saying to eachother.. there would be so much raging and whatnot.

Honestly, this is a hopeless thing to post xD. You could say this a million times over and over.. but there are still TONS of people who are convinced that the community is "dying". This couldn't be any further from the truth and anyone who thinks it.. really has no idea what they are talking about lol. It is true that a lot of active members are leaving or forced to leave due to bans.. whether they are fair or unfair is irrelevant. Whether or not these people leave or not, they community will continue to grow and expand. We have learned this from past people who have left or have been banned fairly or not. Even when the great Bajan Canadian was banned, the community continued to grow and moved on without him. People may rage, a few may leave being upset, but it will never be enough to counter how much Mcsg grows on a daily basis. No ONE person is bigger than the community. Not Bajan, not me, not Gravey4rd. This community will grow whether these people are here or not. That is the sad reality.

Also, I do feel sad for Forarian :p. He has a TON of things to do now that he is the only one left. I can only imagine that.

Based on that statement it seems you just have your hopes on this place failing which saddens me as some people cannot really take factual information to heart. Your more than welcome to have your opinions and leave as you don't seem to not want anything positive here. However, somehow you stay active?

Anyways, thinking everyone got their points across and went way off topic with the survival server concerns.
