Adding "friends" in game

No, but you'd be able to find which game they're in, if they're online. Then you can just join that game.

You can turn off the friend system with a command, and also they get spammed anyways by fans and whatnot in chat.

Just to add unto that, perhaps blocking peoples friend requests(so they can't send more to that person) and unblocking (of course )
